Product Description

          The drop type fuse is installed on the branch line of 10kV distribution line, which can reduce the power failure range, because it has an obvious break point and has the function of isolating switch, it creates a safe working environment for the line and equipment of the overhaul section, and increases the safety feeling of the overhaul personnel. It can be installed on the distribution transformer as the main protection of the distribution transformer, so it has been widely used in 10kV distribution lines and distribution transformers. The outdoor type drop-down fuses are suitable for overloading and short-circuit protection of transmission and distribution lines and power transformers, as well as for dividing and matching the rated load current in AC 50 Hz, rated voltage 10 kv power system. The most widely used types of outdoor drop fuses are RW7, RW11 and RW12.
         In the closing operation, the general provisions for the first pull off the middle phase, then pull the leeward side phase, and finally pull off the windward side phase. This is because the distribution transformer from three-phase operation to two-phase operation, pulling off the middle phase generated by the arc spark minimum, not causing a short-circuit between the phases. The distance between the leeward side and the upwind side is doubled because the middle phase has been pulled apart. Even if there is an overvoltage, the possibility of a short circuit between the two phases is very small. When the upwind side phase is finally pulled off, only the capacitive current to the ground is present, and the electrical spark generated is very slight. After closing, one should carefully check that the tongue of the duck bill can be tightly held over two-thirds of the length of the tongue. One can use a pull bar to hook the upper duck bill and press it down a few times, and then gently try pulling, check to see if it fits. When the fuse is not in place or not firmly closed, static contact pressure on the fuse is insufficient, easily lead to contact burns or self-fall of the fuse.
